What goes around in his mind

Genis is intelligent and usually that causes him to showboast in front of Lloyd and be arrogant at times. However he is often seen as a coward in many scenes (plus that z skit picture where he is holding his head looking very scared/distraghted adds to the cause) but like many there is another side of Genis hidden inside him. Deep inside he is a boy who has gone through hardship mainly because he was a half elf. Plenty of the game's residents which play a role other then standing in the city and saying some random nonsense often notes how they dislike half elves or how the town or this person thinks about them.

At the begining of the series there is little signs implicating that Genis dislikes humans but that all changes once they journey into Tethe'alla, a world where half elves are noted as low lives and outcasts because they're neither fully human nor fully elves. Once Genis was exposed to this kind of hatred he slowly began hating humans (Who wouldn't? Myabe some idiot but Genis isn't one of them). There are many scenes in which Genis is seen saying something along the lines of humans are all like that (refering to the way they think of his kind, half elves).

However, Genis is a smart boy so of course his story wouldn't end with him going "I HATE HUMANS. KILL THEM ALL.". After going through the whole Mithos incident and it's result Genis begins to change his mind - slightly. He confesses he does have a hatred for humans but realizes that not all humans are the same (as he said he liked the ones he traveled with) and that if hatred and dislike will only make humans dislike him more. (Its the neverending cycle: I hate you -> results in you mistreating that person -> that person hating you -> being mean to you -> back to the begining). With that being said he still cannot contain the anger he is filled with when he hears a negative remark about half elves but that's human (er, half elf) nature isn't it?
